Welcome to Crystal Dreams Jewelry!

Hello! My name is Jeannine and I design, create and photograph all of my pieces. I have loved jewelry since I was three years old, playing with colorful strands of beads in my Grandma’s kitchen. I started creating my own pieces in 2010 and it soon became a cherished hobby as I loved creating personalized gifts for friends and family. I started Crystal Dreams in 2018 as a way to connect my creativity with the healing energy of Mother Earth through the use of crystals and gemstones.

Making jewelry has also been a creative and supportive outlet for my profession as a psychotherapist. Many years ago I discovered that wearing crystal jewelry while working on an inpatient psychiatric unit increased my ability to align with my own inner strength. The energetic properties of the crystals seemed to strengthen my aura and create more balance in my mind/body/soul. This allowed me to be present for others from a more resourced place in myself. I will also go so far as to say that the crystals are like angels or spirit guides and they have their own energetic signature. But even if you don’t believe in angels or spirit guides, crystals can be enjoyed for their unique beauty. Anyone who wants to keep their energy naturally uplifted can enjoy wearing Crystal Dreams creations.

I relish working with wire as it moves and yields to a variety of shapes. I have found that I enjoy the look of clean and simple designs with bold, colorful accents and have a certain flow and ease of movement. The movement and flow of my pieces is as important to me as how they look. 

I recently began taking metalsmithing classes so I am learning a new language of working with metal through sawing, shaping and soldering. It is always humbling to be a beginner and learn something new, but ongoing learning is what keeps my work fresh and keeps me excited about what is to come….

As mentioned above, my work is inspired by Mother Nature and the ebbs and flows of life itself. Life is an unfolding mystery of light and darkness and I am inspired to create pieces which are an ongoing reflection of this truth. I also love collaborating with others and would love to create a one-of-a-kind piece for you!
